The films were screened in New York in July 2008 and the DVD was released on January 5, 2009. The eleven directors: Stanley Tucci, Roger Young, Matthew Bright, Dominic Bruna, Jennifer Regan, Pete Jones, John Lyons, David Naughton, Lisa Ray, Michael Shannon, and William Wise.
The films are loosely based on the chapters of the self-help book The Five Love Languages, written by Gary Chapman. The short films tell the story of each of the five men and women in the book from different perspectives.

Man 3 (Richard Jenkins) - Richard is an actor who is told that he's in a phase of life and may not know what he wants to do in the future.

Man 1 (Steve Buscemi) - Steve is a lawyer who is told by a therapist that he's in a phase of life and may not know what he wants to do in the future.
Man 2 (Woody Harrelson) - Woody is a multi-billionaire who's a little bit crazy and tells his therapist that he may be a few sandwiches short of a picnic.
